What should I include in my portfolio?
Your three to six best projects, each with the brief, your role, the process and the result; a short intro with a clear headline; your skills or services; testimonials if you have them; and an easy way to contact you. If you’re job hunting, add your resume as a PDF download.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on the paid plans: connect a domain like yourname.com and the Folioss watermark goes away. On the free plan your portfolio lives at folioss.com/@yourname, which works fine on a resume or a LinkedIn profile.
Online portfolio or PDF portfolio: which is better?
For most people, online: one link that’s always up to date, easy to read on a phone, able to show video and live projects, and it tells you how many visits it gets. A PDF still helps when an application only accepts file uploads, so many people keep a lighter PDF too and put their portfolio link inside it.
Do I need to know how to code or design?
